The Street Racket team arrived back in the capital of Phnom Penh to host the first instructors training in Cambodia. The session was held at the CCC, the Cambodia Country Club - also the home of the Cambodian Tennis Federation.
Four coaches were certified after the class, they boast NGO and sports backgrounds and can now teach and implement Street Racket in schools, other NGOs, homes, communities and many more platforms.
One of the new instructors will start with these healthy, fun, educational and social activities at an orphanage next week, others will visit schools in the upcoming days.
Street Racket now has a local and very sustainable setting in Cambodia and Thailand - with the production of the rackets in a rural carpentry (at Smiling Gecko) and the know how being transferred to these wonderful coaches for multiplication.
We wish the instructors in Thailand and Cambodia a lot of success and many happy players during their sessions and introductions - let’s rock the street!
